Arbiter of the interest in the late to be discussed "noise-techno" interest, Josh Plotkin has worked from various locations around the globe as a key generational participant and purveyor of electronic hybridity. Plotkin focused much of his efforts on his projects Outmode(not the other one) and MLU from the home base of Florida and briefly in Nashville through earlier 2000's. From here he brought about MORE Records, an incubator for the under-represented in east coast noise culture sprouting newer ideas in rhythmic concentrations. His newest project, Lolito, strips away the machination of subversion and gives deeply into the democratic potentiality of "club music". Years in the making, Lolito is for fans of white linens, subwoofers, and fog machines. Manifesting beautiful texture in long form arrangements in the lo-fi and the hi-fi is a strong suit for the hardware enthusiast. Side A of "Volume 1" offers 4 concentrated tracks, while Side B gives a long form collaging of his live practice and one-off exercises in his more abstracted strengths. Lolito "Volume 1" is a C-62, engineered for the mature long form listener, functional groove music. $7.00 postage included to email@example.com.
